This 1947 Chevrolet Stylemaster had a complete body off restoration. Everything has been sandblasted, powder coated, Rino lined where needed and has a basecoat clearcoat as close as possible to its factory color (Matador Maroon). From 10 feet this 1947 Chevrolet Stylemaster looks stock, pop the hood and you will see a modern drivetrain. The rebuilt 4.3 V6 is from a 1999 GMC Sonoma. It is coupled to a rebuilt GM700R trans, delivering power to a 10 bolt GM rearend. It has a classic engineering power rack & pinion steering assembly with disc brakes. Rear suspension is also classic engineering, GM drum brakes and the A/C & heat is a vintage air unit. Outlets and mounted to a custom-made dashboard extension. The radiator was serviced and remains stock with an aftermarket trans cooling kit for the trans. Power booster & master cylinder are located under the floor as it was in 1947, with all new brake lines & hoses. The seats are original to the car and the interior is as close as possible with stitching a direct match from the original. All chrome parts were re-chromed, and all stainless steel had been polished, all new window glass except rear glass, new felt and weather stripping all around. This classic has been appraised by an IAAA certified appraiser and received a 98/100 score
